 Deepika Padukone year has started exactly where it ended in 2013. If last year saw a golden run with four consecutive blockbusters, all of which crossed the 100- crore mark.

 Deepika has been winning Best Actress trophies left, right and centre for her efforts last year, particularly Chennai Express and Ram- Leela . Her only major release this year is Farah Khan's Happy New Year opposite Shah Rukh Khan which is slated to open around Diwali. Deepika will have Homi Adajania's offbeat English comic- thriller, Finding Fanny Fernandes . It casts Deepika in a pivotal role, but is not exactly the stuff that would define mainstream of Bollywood.She will also be seen in a role in 3D film Kochadaiiyaan which features Rajinikanth in a triple role. Deepika next romantic drama opposite Ranbir Kapoor, will only go on floor in 2015.
