Deepika Padukone has earned coveted list of top actors after delivering four back-to-back blockbusters in the last year.

Latest reports, Deepika is speculated to be seen next in the Salman Khan starrer Bade Bhaiyya and Karan Johar's Shuddhi.

Now it seems that these films will have to wait in the beeline as director Shoojit Sircar may have succeeded in attracting Deepika  attention.Shoojit Sircar has approached Deepika for his film, Piku. The film also stars megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Irrfan Khan.

The film is apparently a character-driven father-daughter story. The roles are playing by Big B and Deepika respectively.

Deepika has heard the script, and is impressed with it. Deepika's part is very strong, and that's what she is looking to take up at this stage of her career.The last time Deepika played Amitabh Bachchan daughter was in the 2011 Prakash Jha directed film, Aarakshan.
